§ 1 Area of Application, Customer Information

The following general business conditions regulate the contract relationship between UGG (Udo Grebe Gamedesign), and customers who buy goods via the UGG Online shop.

§ 2 Conclusion of Contract

The offers via Internet are a non committal request to you to order goods. After submitting your Data and by clicking the order button you submit a binding offer to a sales contract. We are entitled to accept your offer within one day by submitting a confirmation e-mail. If there is not confirmation after the time limit specified in sentence your offer is counted as rejected. In other words you are no longer committed to your offer.

§ 3 Shipping Costs

Shpping costs for items of the categories Preorder and Order on Demand are charged when the items are ready to ship! For more detailed information please have a look at our Shipping and Charges (click here).

§ 4 Customer Information: Saving your Order Data

Your order with details about the contract (like kind of products, pricing etc.) will be saved by us. You can access the General Business Conditions after conclusion of contract anytime via our webpage.
As registered customer you can access your submitted orders via the customer LogIn-area (your account).

§ 5 Customer Information: Hints for Correction

Your data entry can be corrected anytime before concluding the order by using the delete button. On your way through the ordering process there may be additional information about further correction options. The order process can be cancelled anytime by closing the browser window.

§ 6 Back Shipping Costs in Case of a Return

In case of a return you need to pay the costs for the return shipment. If there are additional costs, for example because we changed our location of business or because we ask for the use of a more expensive shipping service, these costs will be carried by us. The customer returning goods is responsible and has to carry the cost if the goods are damaged when returned.

§ 7 Guarantee

Guarantees are warranted according to the laws of Germany.

§ 8 Discounts

UGG offers the following discounts for most of our items.

The following pricing system is valid since 01.03.2014.

When registering you can give us a discount group (UGG, GHS or UGG+GHS) to apply to your account.

Please note: The discounts are calculated in your shopping cart, the article pages show the standard prices. Also, you need to be logged in to your account in order to see the reduced prices!

UGG

Until December 31, 2019, the UGG discount was granted for subscriptions to Command & Strategy magazine. Since the magazine has been discontinued, the following rules apply from 01/01/2020: If you order goods worth more than € 1,000 within a calendar year, you will receive a 5% discount on each article ordered in the following calendar year. AND/OR If you have supported a successful UGG Kickstarter project within a calendar year, you will receive a 5% discount on each article ordered in the following calendar year. This is of cause only possible in years, where there is a UGG Kickstarter project. So watch out for this on Facebook, Twitter, our Website, and our Shop. Not a UGG Kickstarter Project is where UGG is just the copblisher of a German edition. The above do not add up.

GHS

If you are member of 'GHS e.V.' or one of the other gaming clubs cooperating with us** you get 5% discount.

** Other gaming clubs are Consimworld Donators, South London Warlords, Ducosim and more.

The discounts are cumulative. Thus, the maximum discount is 10%. This is the “Max. Discount Price” you can see with the items or in the right price column of our price list.

Articles listed as Preorder have a special reduced preorder price. This is already included in the prices and will not be shown separately

Prepub/P500 (Category Preorder):

This game is not available, yet, and has no release date. Gain a nice discount by pre-ordering this item.We ship these games as soon as they are available.

Some items like counter trays or tweezers are excluded from the discount system.

§ 9 Shipping : UGG charges standard shipping fees (usually UPS). UGG freight conditions (see Shipping and Charges) apply.

§ 10 Payment transactions: UGG accepts payments only in Euro. Accepted payment methods are money transfer, SEPA debit (please fill out once and send to us by email, fax or postal service the SEPA Direct Debit Mandate), credit card (VISA and Mastercard), PayPal, Sofortüberweisung (instant bank transfer), cash. For some of those payment methods we charge additional fees. Cash by postal service is in the responsibilty of the sender. All payments are to be made to Udo Grebe Gamedesign (UGG).

§ 11 Payment terms: Payments (debit) for items that are available are charged when the items are shipped. For security reasons, payments by PayPal or Credit Card are charged instantly when making the order. No payment data is stored by our shop. The payment transactions are executed by our certified payment provider PAYONE.

Preorders payed by SEPA debit are charged 90 days or less before shipping the item.

Preoders can take up to three years before they are actually released and can be shipped.

§ 12 Delayed payments: We will not ship new orders as long as the customer has unpaid payments.

§ 13 Damaged or missing components

UGG guarantees for UGG games (with the UGG label).

UGG is the European Service Center for GMT Games. UGG stores replacement parts for games by GMT games and provides free replacements.

There are no free replacements for second hand games.

You need to claim your replacements in written form (email) within six weeks after the game was shipped.

For all other publishers, UGG doesn't provide replacement part service. UGG is not responsible for missing or damaged components in those game, you have to contact the publishers directly. We will however help as far as we can.

§ 14 Terms of Withdrawal

You can revoke your contract statement without stating the reasons in either text form (e.g., letter, fax, E-mail) or by return of the article within 14 days;

Exception for preorder items: usual right of withdrawal does not apply to preorder items. The customer and UGG enter the following contract regarding preorder items: The customer gets the special preorder discount. In return, the customer waives his usual right of withdrawal. The term of withdrawal for those items ends when the item is passing for press by the publisher.

Games of the catogory „Order on Demand“ are binding orders excluded from our regular range of products. The items are obtained by UGG on the explicit demand by the customer and the customer waives his right of withdrawal for an item of the category „Order on Demand“ by ordering it.

Payments by Credit Card can not be refunded to the Credit Cards. Those refunds have to be made with a different payment method. Please contact us in such a case.

§ 15 Change of Prices

UGG keeps prices stable if no dramatic changes occur. However UGG maintains the right to change prices if dramatic changes of the $/Euro course occur, or if the transatlantic freight cost change, or if a publisher changes his prices. This is also valid for already placed preorders or orders on demand. In case of such a price change the customer may cancel his order, but the old price according to the original order receipt cannot be claimed.
